Halloween is just around the corner and there’s only major new style to dress up as this year: Squid Game characters.

Searches for red jumpsuits have been up 170 per cent, according to Boohoo MAN , as the chart-topping Netflix series is set to be everyone’s Halloween costume of choice.

And now, dog owners can dress up with their pets in the iconic green tracksuit or red jumpsuit.

Dozens of Etsy sellers have launched Squid Game inspired outfits in time for October 31 as the South Korean drama continues to sit at number one on the streaming site.

One outfit, from Etsy seller Puppery, is selling the Squid Game players green jacket in sizes XS to 8XL.

Owners can choose between numbers 001, 067, 218 and 456 – the most well known characters of the show – to have on their jackets.

Selling the Korean cosplay look, Puppery said: “Dress with your pet up for Halloween from the trendiest show, Squid Game,” with owners able to choose between the t-shirt, jacket or both, with the complete outfit costing £45.97.

But, if your pet is more of an enforcer, and would be more likely to execute the rules of the Front Man, then the red jumpsuit could be a great choice.

In the tense show, 456 participants take part in a series of well-known children’s games inspired challenges like ‘red light, green light’ for a chance to win the top prize of almost £30 million.

The losers are ‘eliminated’ by the guards one by one throughout six different challenges.

Seller Pawmiscuous sells a red Squid Game inspired hoodie for dogs in eight different sizes, from just £22.87.

The hoodie can then be personalised with a square, circle or triangle, just like the masks worn by the soldiers in the series.

However, not all dogs are keen on dressing up, but are pretty happy to wear a bandana or bow tie.

Another dog business, JoeBandito, is selling Squid Game bandanas for dogs – which is perfect if you have more than one pup, where one could be a player and the other a guard.

These come in sizes small to extra large, with a money-saving multi-buy option costing between £6.49 to £14.98.

On TikTok, many people have been trying out the dalgona honeycomb challenge, but one dog stunned viewers for their recreation of the ‘red light, green light’ challenge.

Cockapoo Sushi takes tentative steps towards the camera for the game, before dramatically ‘dying’ in the adorable clip.
